Sustainable Risk Finance Disclosure Regulation
Firgun Ventures GP S.à r.l. (the “Firgun Ventures”) makes the following disclosures in accordance with Articles 6(1) and 7(2) of the Sustainable Risk Finance Disclosure Regulation (EU/2019/2088) (the “SFDR”).
Integration of sustainability risks
Firgun Ventures is aware that sustainability risks, defined as environmental, social or governance conditions or events, may cause, following their occurrence, a potential or actual material negative impact on the value of an investment.
However, whilst Firgun Ventures does not currently deem sustainability risks as being relevant to any fund that it managers (a “Fund”) , it is aware of the potential negative impact the may have on the value of an investment which a fund makes. In light of such potential effect, therefore, Firgun Ventures intends to modify its approach to the integration of such sustainability risks in the future.
By way of example, Firgun Ventures will look to adopt an opportunistic approach in respect of the mitigation of such sustainability risks and exercise, where applicable, its governance rights to influence the management of the relevant risks related to sustainability in compliance with Article 3 of the SFDR.
Principal Adverse Impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors
Firgun Ventures does not currently consider the adverse impacts of investment decisions of a Fund in the manner prescribed by Article 4 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. However, Firgun Ventures does consider the applicable requirements of the SFDR as specified by the commission delegated regulation, which allows for the implementation of the SFDR with regard to regulatory technical standards specifying the content, methodologies and presentation of information in relation to sustainability indicators and the promotion of environmental or social characteristics and sustainable.
Firgun Ventures’s stance on this matter will be reviewed periodically by reference to market developments.
Remuneration policy
Firgun Ventures pays its staff a combination of fixed remuneration (salary) and variable remuneration (including, for example, bonus). Variable remuneration allocated to staff reflects both personal and firm performance. Although Firgun Ventures’ remuneration policy reflects the fact that Firgun Ventures does not currently integrate sustainability risks into the management of any Fund, its remuneration policy is designed so as not to reward behaviours that result in the crystallisation of sustainability risks.
